A little bit hidden, the english version. I will not translate the whole website, but some important things.

My name is Mike. My friends call me „Muehle“. Translated its Mill. It comes from my family name Muehlbach or Mill creek.

For all who don’t know: Aotearoa is the Maori name for New Zealand and means „Land of the long white Cloud“

This journey will be my third trip to New Zealand. My first trip was 2018 and was payed by my company. Three month work mostly in and around Auckland. From Monday to Friday I trained my colleagues in our products and did a lot of workshops with them. But at the weekends I visited Auckland and the surroundings. Unfortunately it was winter time and this means short days and a lot of rain. But, there is no bad weather, only inappropriate clothing (hope it’s the right term). And winter time in Auckland means 15°-18° degrees. Not so bad.

My second trip was 2024 and 100% private. Luckily my company gives the opportunity to do Sabbatical. I did two month and additional two weeks vacation. In summary 10 weeks or 69 days from middle of January to the end of March. It was one of the best times in my life. Already at the first trip 2018 I fall in love with this country. You can find my travel blog from the 2024 journey at the menu – 2024. Unfortunately only in German. But there are a lot of pictures and the language of pictures is international. 😉

Now it’s time to plan my return – Back to New Zealand.
In 2027 I’ll be back – like the Terminator would say. 😀
There are so many places on my list wich I did not manage to visit 2024 and we are talking only about the north island. Coromandel and New Chums Beach, Three sister and the Elephant, Napier and so on. One place or event I visited 2024 I will see again. New Plymouth and the AmeriCarNa. Stay tuned for a lot of car pictures.
UPDATE: I will not be in New Zealand during the AmeriCarNa. 🙁 My company does not give me any vacation during this time. But I’m sure, there are other Oldtimer meetings and you get stories and pictures.
